Coronavirus – COVID-19 Stopping transmission

Updated: Jul 30, 2020

Dear Customer,

Coronavirus – COVID-19 Stopping transmission

As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreaks grow, we are doing our best to keep everyone healthy and safe in the workplace whilst also minimising the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.

We have reviewed our business resilience plans in light of the potential risk from Coronavirus and are now seeking your support to prevent & mitigate spread of the virus through one of our collection sites.

We have briefed our teams and developed a tiered set of controls which can be triggered should the situation escalate. As you will be no doubt aware, the virus is easily spread from person to person, and we therefore ask all collections to take place with minimal human contact and to take additional precautions with all personal hygiene. These are set out by Public Health England & easily accessible from the internet.

In the event one of our employees is confirmed as a positive case we intend to notify all customers and the relevant risk to yourself.

For your part, could we ask for a reciprocal arrangement. In the event that you are notified one of your team is a confirmed case, can you please let us know if they have been on your site in the 14 days prior to the onset of symptoms. We can then investigate the appropriate measures within our business to ensure our employees and customers alike to do our best in keeping all involved safe.

We appreciate your co-operation at this difficult time.

Kind Regards

Abbie Tallack
